I thoroughly enjoyed reading Dr. Sue Tierno’s book, Andamio!. In this book, Susan presents a holistic case for parent involvement that enhances and positively influences student learning.The psychological- brain based learning- and philosophical- phenomenological- underpinnings of the book lend to its creativity and strategies for parental involvement. The text is well researched from an intellectual and cognitive perspective, grounded in many practical suggestions for everyday parental connection.Congratulations Sue on an excellent work which can be well used not only by ELL staff but educators in all areas!
